Built because the industry deserved better tools

Interior designers and contractors are running multi-lakh rupee projects on Excel, WhatsApp, and memory. We built Mysanchalan because we believe skilled professionals deserve structured tools.

The problem we set out to solve

Interior design and construction is one of India's largest industries — and one of the least digitised. A designer managing six residential projects runs their entire business through a combination of Excel files, WhatsApp groups, and hard-won client trust. A contractor juggling four commercial sites has no reliable system to know, at 9 AM on a Monday, which projects are behind schedule.

The tools that do exist were built for enterprise — for large contractors running hundreds of crores worth of civil engineering. They're expensive, complex, and require a dedicated IT team to run. The small interior design firm and the mid-scale contractor were never the intended customer. They were left to figure it out themselves.

Mysanchalan was built specifically for this gap. Not for the enterprise. For the experienced designer managing four residential projects. For the contractor running three commercial fit-outs simultaneously. For the project manager who spends two hours a day just forwarding information between people.

We wanted to build something that could be adopted in a single afternoon — without consultants, without custom development, and without a steep learning curve. Something that solves the daily frustrations of running a project-based business, not just the theoretical ones.

How we think about product

Specificity over generality

We don't try to be everything. Mysanchalan is built for construction and interior professionals specifically. A general project tool can never understand the BOQ → quotation → invoice flow the way we do.

Visibility is the product

Most project problems come from lack of visibility — who approved what, what's actually on site, which invoice is overdue. The core of Mysanchalan is giving everyone the right view of the right information.

Professionals deserve great tools

The carpenter who's built a 20-year client list, the designer who's delivered 80 projects — they deserve tools as capable as they are. Complexity shouldn't be a barrier to professionalism.

Built for India

GST-ready invoices. INR throughout. Project values in lakhs and crores. Designed for how Indian contractors and designers actually work — not how SaaS products from the US assume they should.

Where we're headed

Our immediate goal is to make Mysanchalan the default platform for project-based construction and interior businesses in India — the way Zoho became the default for small business finance, or Tally became the default for accounting.

Longer term, we see Mysanchalan as the operating system for a project-based construction firm — connecting not just internal teams but also vendors, clients, and subcontractors within a structured, accountable ecosystem.

For now, every release we ship is guided by one question: does this make it meaningfully easier for a designer or contractor to run a professional project?

If this resonates, we'd love to work with you

We're early stage and actively learning from professionals who use Mysanchalan. Your feedback directly shapes what we build next.
